Outlook closes with Error Message

I use Outlook 2007 (Office Small Business 2007). I noticed that after I
accepted an automatic update of Adobe Maker, my Outlook closes by itself with
the following error message:

"Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience."

I haven't been able to use Outlook after trying other tips, and rebooting my
computer about 10 times in the last 2 days. I've tried to 'repair' Outlook
but it doesn't help....any suggestions/tips anyone? I would really
appreciate it...thanks.

And what happens with Outlook after you uninstall Adobe Maker?

What happens when you run Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe")
which will NOT load any add-ons to Outlook that you installed?

Thank you for your suggestions. I tried them both and rebooted, and it
keeps on doing the same thing. When I open Outlook, in 20-30 seconds, it
closes by itself with the same error message. I guess is not Adobe
afterall...?

If you load Outlook in its safe mode and rebooted, then Outlook won't be
in its safe mode anymore. Just run Outlook in its safe mode and leaved
it loaded (do NOT reboot) to see if the forced exit happens sometime
later.

again...it closed itself after a few seconds.

Check the Event Viewer to see if there are entries there at the time
that Outlook crashed.

17 seconds with 0 seconds of active time. This session ended with a crash."

This is all it says. How can I find out the reason for the crash and how to
fix the problem?

This is all it says. How can I find out the reason for the crash and how to
fix the problem?

There is a category of errors in Event Viewer called "MS Office
Sessions"? Never heard of it.

Select the error shown in Event Viewer. Double-click to open in its own
window. Click the button (its icons looks like 2 pages) to copy the
error message to the clipboard. Paste the error here.

I got so frustrated last night that I just restored my system to last
Sunday's date....my outlook is working now, although I'm having problems with
Adobe Acrobat; but at least I got the most important one (outlook)
functioning right now.
