Error when opening Outlook 2003

I upgraded to Office 2007 but then uninstalled it because I like Office 2003
better. Now, when I open Outlook, I get "Microsoft Office Outlook has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." This occurs every time I open Outlook 2003. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I found in another post that said to rename the outcmd.dat file to outcmd.old
and restarted outlook.

It worked like a charm. Thanks for responding!
