message "Personal folder did not close properly" occurs frequently

Very often when I start up Outlook the message "personal folder did not close
properly" or similiar appears and then repair takes about 5 minutes to
execute before Outlook opens

Do you close Outlook before shutting down your PC? If not; you should ;-)

Most likely an oversized mailbox, keep your pst/ost under 2GB
