Personal Folders did not close properly

I am getting continuous Personal Folders did not close properly message, my
personal folders have not backed up since July 20th. Is there a work around
to fix this?

Basically, figure out why they aren't closing.

Try rebooting the machine, going to Start - Run and running 'outlook /safe'
and then exit Outlook through File - Exit, wait 10 minutes, and then restart
outlook normally. Do you get the error again? If no, do the File - Exit,
wait 10 minutes again and see if you get the error. You should.

If you didn't get the error in safe mode, there's some add-on in Outlook
that isn't letting Outlook close. Could be Google Desktop Search, could
be Live Desktop Search, could be an A/V software, could be the ipod sync.
Could be lots of things.
