The data file "personal folders" was not closed properly.

Everytime I close Outlook 2002 and try to reopen it, I receive an error
message that indicates...The data file "personal folder" was not closed
properly", and then outlook will take approximately five minutes to start up
and open after it is finished "repairing" itself. Any suggestions.

Something is keeping Outlook open when you think it's closed. See if
