Memory checking utilities

Last week sometime, someone (I think it was Carey) posted a couple websites
that have memory checking programs that can be downloaded. I've searched the
different topics for the last hour but have not found them yet. My computer
just stops with a blank screen sometimes and I thought I would check the ram.
