meeting requests

hello - i hope someone can help!
whenever i send a meeting request, the receiver gets it in
an odd garbled format and doesn't ask to respond either.
i've tried resetting my outlook, restoring defaults,
changing the format to 'plain text' - it was working a few
weeks ago. i can receive meeting requests normally however.
i'm not sure what else to do!

You didn't tell us anything about your Outlook configuratino -- Outlook
version, type of email account, if you're using Exchange what version.
