mediaplayer start always up

Petrus Van den Cruyce

Win XP is working fine but when i want to start a program by clicking
the icon windows mediaplayer always starts up. How can i solve this
problem?
When i dubble click on a document for exemple a word document
everything is working fine.
 
It sounds as if your shortcut association is damaged. Does it happen as
well, when you double click the EXE file itself?
