Media Player Skips

I have to different computers with the exact same issue. When Media Player
is playing a song, toward the very end of the song, it skips, or cuts out.
It is consistant and it is consistant on both systems no matter the songs
played. I haven't tried it with a CD but with MP3 music on the machine. Has
any one had this problem and is there a fix?

check box for disable all enhancements.

(exact path may vary depending on sound hardware installed in your machine)

BTW do you by any chance have a new Dell (seems to be common with them, mine
is an XPS410)

Both Dell machines. One is an XP 410 at home. The other is a Latitude D
820 at work. Interesting. Dell needs to load the software differently huh?

Thanks - I have a Dell 9200 on which I upgraded from XP MCE to Vista Ultimate
(Retail) - this fix worked for me - Microsoft Support don't seem to have the
faintest idea after weeks of exchanging e-mails !!!
