MAX Hook Wnd
instruction at 0x73dd1c65 could not read at address
0x00000000

This error causes the Windows shell/desktop to crash and
restart. It normally happens when Im browsing files on the
hard disk, but it does happen at other times.
This has been on going for years and I have also seen it
in Win2000 and WinNT 4.
It is irregular and unpredictable as to when it occurs.
It does not seem to be associated with any one program.

Max Hook Wnd: Explorer.exe - Application error

I started getting this error when using windows explorer to create new directories, and or check existing using properties.
I'm using windows XP pro. with latest updates for SP2.

Any suggestions for a solution will be appreciated.
