Can you disable a remote vpn Win2k's attempt to be the
master browser in an NT 4.0 network?

That is a good question ive also ran into this issue

Hi,

You can simply stop and disable the Computer Browser server on the Windows
2000 box. It won't prevent it from showing up in a browse list or being able
to browse, but will stop it from trying to become a master browser.
