Mapped drives trying to open via program from My Computer

Something odd recently started happening on some of the computers in my
network. When I mapped a network drive it setup correctly, but when I
clicked on it from My Computer it popped up a Open With... screen to choose
what program to open it with. When I type the full network path into the
address bar it reaches the network folders correctly.

I cannot immediately see any difference between the configuration of these
computers and the ones that work correclty.

Please help.

Keep one part of your brain ignorant about things that are not worthy to be
known.
What you can do is, select open with explorer.exe " Never ask again " or
open using addess bar.
