MAPI spooler

Hopefully someone can help me out. I tried to send an email with a large
165mb file attached (didn't realize the size) and outlook has been hung up
ever since. It won't let me delete it from the outbox and when I try to open
it I get and error message stating: Can't open this item. MAPI Spooler has
already begun transmitting this message.

Is there anyway of getting rid of this or cancelling this message?

I figured it out and will post the solution for anyone else with the same
problem.
Got to dropdown file and click work offline then you can delete the email
that is causing the problems in the outbox. Once it's deleted you can go back
to working online and the problem will be solved. You may have to shut the
program down and/or reboot but deleting the offending item in the outbox will
solve the problem.
