I recently put myself together a new computer. and while
trying to load windows XP Pro I get a large barrage of
errors. Most commonly the setup program hangs during the
installation of devices (about 3/4 done) or I get a blue
screen that says something about IRQL bieng not equal or
less... No matter what I try I cannot resole this. Can
anyone help??

This error usually indicates bad drivers. Do a clean install (formatting
the drive first) with a stripped down computer - that means with only a
video card, cd-rxx drive(s), floppy, keyboard, and mouse attached and
no peripheral devices. If XP finishes installation, the first thing you
want to do is install the motherboard drivers. Then the video card
drivers. Then add in pci cards - one at a time! If XP won't finish the
install on a stripped down box, you have failing hardware. Start by
testing the RAM, then the hard drive, then the motherboard.

If you need more help, please repost. Include information about your
system and what you've already done to troubleshoot.
