No, that wasn't me. (And I wonder why wouldn't you take the 5 seconds to
look to see who did.)

Well, since you asked. The way I have Windows Mail set up as newsreader, it
would have taken considerably longer than five seconds to look that up.
It's set up so that messages I've already read do not show up again. So, at
the time your message showed up, it was the only one or two left in this
thread. The others I'd already read in a previous email session, so they
didn't show up again. I would have had to go up, change the view to show all
messages, find the thread again and then go through the previous messages to
find out exactly who said what. Didn't seem worth it for an off-topic, tho
interesting, conversation.
So, if you were in an airport and that happened to you, you would detain
the person, find a security guard or police officer, explain what you
think
happened, convince that officer of what you thought it was, go through the
entire process of pressing charges, appear for court dates, etc....?

I doubt it. You'd be too busy trying to get home, or catching your flight.

No, I would hope that through police operations like the one that caught
Craig, the airport would be sending messages to people that that sort of
behavior is not being tolerated at that airport. Just like I'm not going to
go chase down some idiot who happens to speed through my kids' school zone,
I would hope that through tough enforcement police would be sending out the
message in my community that speeding through school zones is not tolerated.
In a word that lots of police departments like to use, I would hope they're
being proactive.

I definitely would not try to "detain" someone in that kind of situation. I
would be presenting a danger to myself. I might be angry enough to slam my
heels into his fingers when they may their way to "my" side of the stall
divider, though.
