Managing an NT server from an XP workstation

Can I install the NT 4.0 resource kit on my XP workstation
to manage my NT server? I would only need the server
manager and user manager portion of the resource kit.

You could try running the executables directly from the server

e.g.
\\servername\c$\winnt\system32\usrmgr.exe runs User Manager
\\servername\c$\winnt\system32\svrmgr.exe runs Server Manager

Instead of running Server Manager though, you can use XP's Computer
Management option, then connect to the server in question (right-click on
Computer Management (Local)), then select "Connect to another computer" .
