Making movie and playing it on DVD player/TV

I am working on a move in Movie Maker and want to be sure that I will be able
to play this in my DVD player through my TV. This is a memorial for my
father and my grandparents do not have a computer - so I was hoping just
playing it through their tv/dvd player will work. Will it?

Only if you burn it to a DVD. Movie Maker will not do that. You will need dvd
authoring software and a dvd burner.

It's best if you save the movie in the .avi format.
