dvd not reading in my dvd player

I am using Windows Vista in which I created my movie in Movie Maker, burned
it onto a DVD+RW using Windows DVD Maker, and I am able to play the DVD on my
computer just fine. However, when I put it in my TV's DVD player it gets
stuck "reading" the DVD. Suggestions?

FWIW...some DVD Players will not play a homemade DVD.
And...re-writable media may not be the best choice....check
the documentation for your player and see if DVD+RW is
supported.

Anyway...maybe you created a Data DVD and not a Video DVD...
if you search the DVD does it have a VIDEO_TS folder that contains
VOB files? If...yes...it should play in a free standing DVD Player.
