Making a pdf from an Access Report

I have Windows XP, Office 2003 (with Access) and acrobat 6.0.
Why can't I make a pdf from an Access report?

Thanks, but I still don't understand why I can't just choose Adobe Pdf as my
printer if I have Acrobat.

Good question. What are you doing, specifically, and what is happening,
specifically? It is difficult, at best, to debug remotely; it is impossible
without accurate detailed information.

I've not used the exact combination you describe, but have had (an older
version of) Acrobat installed as a printer, and just choose it when I print
the Report. I have not had a problem with that.

While in Access, I select "Preview Reports," then, say, "Preview the Sales by
Product Report" (though it doesn't matter what report I choose).

After telling it to Print, I select Printer: Adobe PDF (Status: Ready;
Type:
Adobe PDF Converter; Where: My documents; Comment: Creates Adobe PDF).

Immediately a message pops up: "Microsoft Office Access has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
"The information you were working on might be lost. Microsoft Office Access
can try to compact and repair your open database."

Then it has a checkmark next to: "Repair my open database and restart
Microsoft Office Access."

Followed by: "Please tell Microsoft Office Access about this problem. We
have created an error report that you can send to help us improve Microsoft
Office Access. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous."
With two buttons: "Send Error Report" and "Don't Send"

I have sent the error report a few times.

Sounds to me like something is seriously hosed in either your Access
installation, or your Acrobat installation. One thing I suspect I would try
before giving up and calling either Microsoft or Adobe tech support (on a
situation ripe for 'fingerpointing'), I think I would uninstall Access (or
maybe all of Office) and uninstall Acrobat, then reinstall each.

I have actually solved some inscrutable problems that way... but admit that,
often, what is hosed is some support DLL that isn't fixed reinstalling.
