PDF print disappearances

Hello,

I'm working with reports in my ms access system. Everything looks great
in the print preview, but ever since the beginning of making this
report a lot of 1 pixel lines seem to dissappear. And when i copy lines
that do appear they can't replace them. The problem is particulary with
vertical lines being 1 pt thick. I can't affort to make them any tigger
since the whole report is made out of a lot of colums and it would mess
up the layout..

- I read that it could be a dpi setting problem, but i've changed the
pdf printers dpi setting.
- Secondly i read that it's caused by MS, they don't create shapes they
just do a filling and as the filling is to small (no borders) it
sometimes won't show up in the pdf version.

Currently i'm using:

- Microsoft Access 2003
- Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Profesional
- The standard PDF print functionality/drive, wich comes with Adobe
Acrobat 6.0

Is there any solution for this since i'm sick and tired of replacing
and editing every line again again and again.. ( boss says yeh looks
great but i want it to be widther, boss says yes looks great but i need
a new colum etc. etc. you prolly know the deal :p)

ps. We have to use Adobe Acrobat for showing the pdf file.. sometimes
editing needs to be done afterwards with some of the reports. But i
wouldn't have any idea why this wouldn't be possible

Thanks for all of you answers and efforts in advance,

Tim

Doesn't helps me out, i need to run my own form's there are lots of
buttons wich all refer to different reports. Plus i can't change the
method of work for the ppl using it. What i'm looking for is an
PDFprint device/driver that does convert properly..

YEAH BABY !@!

I got it fixed ( PDF printer makes lines disappear ), and for the ones
having the same problems i thought i should be kind and post how i got
things working..

After contacting with the adobe support, they were on there way helping
me ofc. taking the time.. I havn't got an answer from them yet, but
after i tried something, after reading loads of posts on the different
'discussiegroepen' i knew it had to do with the dpi.. I already changed
that before and it didn't work.. but i got it FIXED NOW!

How you do it:

You want to print a report to a pdf format, so you can save/backup it
or use it for any other purpose you like.. but seperation lines (column
borders) dissapear when you export the document to pdf!

You'll have to set the pdf printer up for every report you want to
print (file->page setup) you need to change the following settings:

Go to the advanced page of your pdf printer and change these into
these:

- DPI settings were "1200" -> change to "600"

- ICM Intent was "Picture" -> change to "Graphic"

I hope this helped for everybody who reads this.
