How do I make a folder private when it will not let me check the box? I am
signed on as administrator and this option is greyed out and will not allow
me to check it

Hi,

To have that option, the folder must be under the local user profile
(C:\Documents and Settings\<username>) and the file system must be NTFS.

Is the partion you are trying to "make the folder privet" FAT32 or
NTFS? If it’s FAT32, it will not work.
