Make a folder Private

On my windows xp maching, when I try to make on of my folder Private, the
option is grayed out, when I go to the properties, and the sharing tab, under
that local sharing and security the option " Make this folder Private" is
grayed out. how can I change it.I reaily need to make the folder private so
only I have access to it.
