Make Power Point Viewer Open with preselected .PPS file

I have a presentation that I want to put on a CD along with PowerPoint Viewer
and have it open when the viewer loads without the directory showing up and
having to click on the file although it is the only .pps file on the disc.

Can this be done and if so (yes) how do I set it up?

I have made a autorun CD which opens (loads) power point viewer ok but when
it dose even if I tell it to load the .pps file, the viewer still opend a
directory of the files in the directory on the CD. I am trying to bypass
this step and make the file autoplay without that extra operation.

I do understand about the IT override and have included instructions how to
go around the autorun. M goal is to make a .pps file run when the PPV
program is loaded without having to click on a directory entry.

As per Michael's response.

But remember that each user (or their IT department) can allow or disable the
ability of CDs to AutoRun. If they've disabled it, there's nothing you can do
to change that. It's always a good idea to include some instructions along the
lines of "If this CD doesn't automatically start, please ... [fill in the
blanks]"

I can make the autoplay file load the ppviewer, but how do I tell it to load
the pps file without going to the directory and waiting for a mouse click. Is
there an command to add to the ppv.exe instruction?

You can't force a particular PPS to load when you start the viewer, but when you
Package for CD and include the viewer, it'll set up an Autorun.inf file that
automatically starts the viewer + the PPS.
