.PPS files

I am running Windows XP Home with SP 2 and IE 7. I receive a lot of
Powerpoint Presentation files (.pps files) especvially from one friend and I
love them. However recently when I go to download tyhe files as attachments
from email as I always done Poer point viewer does not open and play the
files. io am directed to find the program on the web or save it. I saved
one and opened it with Power Point viewer and checked always use this program
for this type of file but I got a .pps today and powerpoint did not open it.
How do i get my Power oint Viewer to open these files as default again. I
have made no changes to my system

Second, are you using Outlook Express as your e-mail program?
