Make only GROUP name visible in "To" field of email

Hi everybody,

I've been trying to figure out how to make make a group name (e.g. "Good
people") visible in the "To" field when sending an email to a number os
recipients. Basically, I want to do two things: hide the recipients' emails
and have the group name appear in the "To" field of their emails when they
receive them. The two options I have tried are sending an email to a
distribution list (Good people) using Bcc and sending mail via Mail Merge. In
the former case the email arrives addressed to the recipient's email address
(i.e. in the "To" field appears "(e-mail address removed)") rather than to the
group (i.e. Good people). In the latter case (when using Mail merge in MS
Word 2007) I can chose what should appear in this field (title, first name,
second name, company etc.) but there is no option for the Group to appear in
that field. So now I am buffled as to whether it is at all possible to
customize emails like that with MS Outlook. I have received such emails
addressed to a group which I couldn't open to see the individual email
addresses it contained, so I know it's possible to do it somehower.

Outlook doesn't do 'undisclosed recipient' like some clients do. if you want
the group name to show in the to field, make a contact with the Group name
and use your email address in it. Put this in the to field. Add the other
names to the BCC field.
