How to hide recipient addresses, but show names

When sending emails to a large group of people, I do not want to disclose all
email adresses to all recipients. However, I want everybody to know who else
received the email. I would like the recipients to see all recipients' names
in the To field, but without the email addresses. Is it possible to achieve
this with Outlook (or any other email client)? I am currently using Outlook
2003.

Have you tried typing in the To: field...
Last name, First Name, even though that doesn't exist and add their real
addresses in the Bcc field
