when i got this new computer i found out that the web site i had on the old
computer was 2 years old.....went to the server site and had a copy of the
site downloaded on a disk..copied it into the right file and opened
it...right date and info...now when i try to log into the server with this
new data it comes up with a box asking for the web site locaton but when i
put it in it gives me an error message that is quite large ( 4 different
options) what can i do to get this all back and connect with the web site
server???????

copy the site from the CD to some location on your new computer, locate that
folder in windows explorer, right click/ properties, remove the "read only"
check in it's checkbox. you'll get a dialog about what should have read
only removed (select this directory, sub directories and files). once
that's done, open FrontPage, then hit file/ open site and browse to that
site you just modified.
