Major Display Problems!

I can't figure out what is wrong with my computer!
My display is fixed on 16 colors and 640X480 pixels.
I really don't like this, but when I change it to the
settings I want, it prompts me to restart and when I
restart, nothing has changed!
Does anybody know what this is or how I can change it?

have you tried to reinstall your video driver. that will
probably solve your problem!! hope that helps

Hi Amanda,

You need to find the make/model of video adapter that is in your system and
download a new video driver from the manufacturer.
