Mail & Office 2007

My new laptop came with a trial of Office 2007 and I'm wondering if I
uninstall Office, will it affect my Windows mail? I don't want to lose all
my saved messages.

No, it won't affect Windows Mail at all. It will delete Microsoft Outlook if
you are using that, though.
 
Windows Mail is part of Vista, and totally separate from Office. Therefore,
removing Office 2007 shouldn't affect it at all. Do make sure, however (and
forgive me if I'm teaching Granny to suck eggs) that you are using Windows
Mail and not Outlook. Outlook will be removed when you uninstall Office.
