Just installed windows MS Office 2007 'update' and now Windows Mail again takes 2+ mins. to open

I had this problem earlier but thought it had to do with an earlier 'update'
or my spyware program. I had uninstalled the spyware program,
now this Office 2008 update goes and sets me right back to 2.5 mins. just to
open. Does anyone have any ideas why any windows
update seems to affect my Windows Mail? especially when none of the updates
are FOR windows mail?

I do have Office 2007 so don't want to uninstall that SP1. But I'd like to
keep a mail program that operates insides windows, not an internet
mail, not Outlook, I want Windows Mail.

Am I out of luck? All I use is NOD32, windows defender and windows
firewall. Why is this so annoying all of a sudden.

Remove Outlook 2007 from your install of Office 2007.

Will that make my windows Mail open faster after the Office upgrade? I will
