mail not visible in in-box

Mail is not visible in in-box. I have tried Tools-Send/receive-Send/receive
settings to 10 minutes and tried sending myself test messages from other apps
(Lotus Notes)-however no cigar.

What should I do?

What type of mail server? Does a different client show the messages?
