Situation:
I'm using Outlook 2003.
In junk email preferences, I have checked the box "Also trust email
from my Contacts"
In junk email preferences, I have checked the box "Automatically add
people I email to the Safe Senders list"
Problem:
I have about 10 senders who I have done "Add sender to Safe Senders
list" to, but whose emails end up in my "Junk Mail" folder nonetheless.
What I think is happening:
I have several rules created that predate the Outlook "junk email"
filter. I created them before I moved to Outlook 2003. They search for
words that I frequently find in junk emails. I believe that these rules
are moving some messages into the "junk email" folder before the
address is checked against the "safe senders" list.
Question:
How can I demote my rules so that they happen AFTER the comparison with
the "safe senders" list? Or maybe I can create a rule that says "if the
sender is on the safe senders list, stop processing further rules." But
how?
Thanks so much,
