Safe Sender/Domain Not Working

When I get an e-mail I want that has ended up in the Junk Mail folder, I
select to add the sender to the Safe Sender's list and/or add the domain to
the Safe Domain list. However, when I receive mail from the same sender, it
still ends up in my Junk Mail folder. I have checked the Safe Sender's list
and the sender and/or domain is listed. The same goes for when I click the
button "Not Junk." I will check off that I trust mail from that sender but
still future e-mails from the sender end up in Junk Mail.

An example is e-mail from eBay. When I received e-mails confirming a bid
([email protected]), indicating I have been outbid ([email protected]),
or indicating I have either won or lost a bid ([email protected]), they all
end up in Junk Mail. All 3 addresses are in the Safe Sender's list as is the
domain @ebay.com.
I have checked all my rules, but this would not matter anyway because I
don't have any rules that redirect mail to the Junk Mail folder. And it is
not just e-mail from eBay. There are other senders that are on the Safe
Sender's list and their mail ends up in Junk Mail also.

1) I am using Outlook 2003 and running Windows XP Media Center Edition SP2.
2) I have the Junk Mail option set to Safe List Only.
3) None of the senders I want to get mail from are on the Blocked Sender's
list

So why is this happening? It is not for all my mail, like others have had
problems with, but only 6 to 12 senders that are not in my Contacts list. I
really do not want to have to create another Contact list with for these 6-12
senders and don't feel I should have to just because Outlook cannot abide by
its own junk filtering rules.

I have looked through several posts with people having similar issues but
have not seen one with a solution that works.

Did you ever get a satisfactory fix for this problem? I have been having the exact same problem with Outlook 2007 and Windows XP Media Edition. Many posters seem to have this problem, but I have yet to see a solution. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

What "exact same problem"? SInce you didn't quote any of the message to
which you only _think_ you're replying, there's no way to help you.

Brian,

Sorry for my ineptitude. I was attempting to reply to the most recent post, that by Divelucaya on August 27, 2007. I, too, cannot figure out why certain senders (one in particular) continue to wind up in my Junk mail box in Outlook 2007. I have checked "Not Junk." I have put the sender, and even his entire domain, in the "Safe Senders" list. I have checked to make sure that this sender is not on the "Blocked Senders" list (right now, I have no addresses in the "Blocked Senders" list). I have tried to make a rule, putting it in as the fist rule to execute, to move mail from that sender to my Inbox. I have even disabled the Junk filter entirely. Yet, mail from this sender continues to go into the "Junk mail" box. I have seen some posts that seem to indicate that some program other than Outlook might be intercepting mail from this sender and sending it to the Outlook "Junk mail" folder; is this possible? If so, what types of programs might that be? I do have an Anti-Virus program (part of the Charter Hi-Speed Security Suite), but I would not imagine that an anti-virus would take such an action. Any suggestions you (or anyone else) might have would certainly be welcomed.
