II have a network with 20 imac and 20 pc's. they all use the same server to
get access to networked printers. but for some reason after a time the
imac's don't recognise the printers at all. they can access the server but
not the printers at all.

I've read in several of these groups that sp4 on a Windows 2000 server can
cause a problem such as this. The current solution is to roll back to sp3.

I can't find a link for you to refer to, however. If you search Google
Groups, you should a few posts about this.

information:

Mac OS versions
Server SP version
Printer - Appletalk? Postscript?
