Macro for Outlook

Hi,

I need a macro to paste in outlook, so that it picks up the mail which is
sent from specified shared mailbox one of the common folders.

If you don't have any idea about VBA or how to modify existing code to your
own environment, then this is probably not the solution for you either.

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

which suits my needs.

No, you are asking someone to create the code for you and implement it for
you from a to z. Now, unless someone has already that code ready made, I
doubt that someone will create it for you. Also, at the level of detail that
you have posted, no one can produce any code specific to your case.

Also note that this is a support newsgroup. That means that we can help you
on your way, assist you with something or point you to solutions. It is not
that we'll do that work for you although there are some people out here as
well which can be hired on an hourly basis if you want.

That said;
Why would a simple sending rule not work in your case?
Tools-> Rules and Alerts...

Hi Robert,

Actually I send 100's of emails a day from a shared mailbox and during month
end I've to collate them in an excel format and send it for month end
metrics. There are around 8 people whose data has to be collated. So I want
every sent mail to be saved in an excel format in a shared drive during month
end the people will directly pick up the data from that folder.

Which will save lot of time for me

Which data needs to be collected from the email?

You can create a rule on those 8 machines that will create a copy of items
with a certain conditions in the Sent Items folder (or any other folder) of
the share mailbox. There are also ready made add-ins for this such as
Lucatec Mask;

It would be much more easier to generate the Excel sheet at month's end
instead of having it updated in real time at the 8 machines via code. This
is bound to cause a lot of issues and would be a decentralized solution.

From an e-mail folder it is easy to get everything into an Excel file via
copy/paste. It would be similar to this method;
