Machine Remembers previous cd?

Dear All,

I've had this happen for a bit now, on and off. My machine seems to remember
the previous cd that was in the drive? even after a restart. After a hard
power down it forgets, but sometimes (after only a reset) it goes to the
extreme of remembering the contents of the cd too? even with a new disc in
the drive?

Anybody had similar problems with this? and is there a solution? I'm
guessing it is something to do with a cache somewhere?

No, I don't have that problem, try the following

right click on the drive and select property , click on AutoPlay tab
check prompt me each time to choose an action


I forgot where you can also turn off offline folder. look that up.
