lsass.exe bad image error

When I start my laptop (windows XP Pro) I get an error that reads: lsass.exe
bad image, the only option is to click OK but then nothing happens. Screen
stays black, but I can move cursor. I have tried restarting in safe mode and
other safe mode configurations and I keep getting the same error. Please
advise, thank you.

Try a Repair Install.
