set your page file to SYSTEM MANAGED instead of limiting its size.

Yes, more RAM would help.
Yes, there is another solution.
But, it's:
Impossible to say based on the dismally tiny bit of useless info you
provided. As it says, it wants you to mod your page file; why don't you
just try that first?

How to Post a newsgroup question effectively:

perhaps you simply
ought to address the
message firstly:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826513

what i would suggest
is to custom set the
initial size to 2 and the
max to 1152.

in addition you should
also download a freeware
from microsoft.com called
pagedefrg and set it to run
at boot time.

if the above still doesn't
help, then perhaps its
time to look into increasing
your ram.

How much RAM memory?

Try Ctrl+Alt+Delete to select Task Manager and click the Performance
Tab. Under Commit Charge what is the Total, the Limit and the Peak?

You should be able to gather more information from Task Manager. With
the Processes tab open select View, Select, Columns and check the boxes
before Peak Memory Usage and Virtual Memory size. What are the figures
for the 6 processes using the largest amounts?

If one of your programmes has a memory leak leaving the computer on 24/7
will exacerbate the problem, which you might otherwise live with.

I would be interested in seeing a Disk Defragmenter report. Open Disk
Defragmenter and click on Analyse. Select View Report and
click on Save As and Save. Now find VolumeC.txt in your My Documents
Folder and post a copy. Do this before running Disk Defragmenter as it
is more informative.

Hope this helps.

Learn to leave things as they should be.
There is nothin to be gained from setting "virtual"memory(pagefile)to
anything other than system managed.
Pagefile WILL expand/contract as and when needed.
