Low level of bass

J

Jimmy

I have a Boston BA745 speaker system on my computer. The
system comes with two satellite high frequency speakers
with one of the satellite having the volume and subwoofer
control. In the past I would keep the subwoofer level at
a 11 o'clock position. But all of the sudden, my bass
level is not as it was before. Even when I crank it up
all the way I can't get the same bass level as I did
before. The only way I can adjust the bass level is on
the one satellite. But that does not work satisfactory.
I made sure that all of the connections are attached well
but no change. I tried other CDs but that does not
work. Please help!!! Thank you.

Hi Jimmy,

It sounds like you've got some custom WMP Graphic Equalizer scheme enabled
that cuts off your low end.

You can check to make sure by doing:

View->Enhancements->Graphic Equalizer and verifying that the low-end
frequencies aren't set too low.

Hope this helps.
