Lost USB mouse after SP1 update

Hey all,
Anyone know why this happened? New AMD machine. Fresh XP install,
then SP1 update, reboot and no USB mouse (lights up during boot, but
goes dead at login). Works fine with PS2 adapter.

Hi Bradley,

I don't know why it happens, but it does seem to happen to a lot of people.
Seems the best remedy for it is to go into Device Manager and Remove all USB
components. Restart and let Windows redetect/reinstall the USB drivers.
