A Hard drive was replaced in a machine, and windows 2000 installed with
office 2000. The problem is, if I search the old drives, I cannot find the
PST file. Outlook was previously set up in work group mode, even though it
was only using POP3 internet email.

Any ideas on where the data could be? I have done this a million of times,
but not with the workgroup mode setup.

Where is the data? FYI: I checked /identities/ms/outlook and found nothing.

Thanks very much!

It's hidden. Make sure you're searching in hidden/systems folders

No. In Windows XP you have to specify that in your search parameters. In
Win2K go to Control Panel>Folder Options>View Tab and check "Show Hidden
Files and Folders"

When you search, doesn't it automatically search for hidden files as well?
