Lost 'Paint' and 'Games'

I'm not a new user but this has got me stumped. One nice day I was happily
using 'paint' and had a full set of 'games' through the accessories and the
next day both applications had disappeared! Where on earth could they have
gone? Timbuctoo? I've used search to no effect. They've just disappeared.
thanx for any assistance

Did you try a system restore ?

Go to start/run, and type :
PBrush

If this opens paint, all you have is a problem with your shortcuts in the
start menu folder. A new shortcut can be dragged in where you want it.

start run, type
%userprofile%/start menu

This is also true of the games. Perhaps an easy way to do them would be to
remove the checkbox for games in the Add/Remove app, OK, then recheck the
games checkbox again.
