Lost my D Hard Drive

Click on Start > Right Click My Computer > Select Manage > Click on Disk
Management under the Storage heading.

Can you see the details of the driver in there? If so what does it say about
the drive?

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. On the following screen,
select Disk Management. Does the D:\ drive show up here at all? If so,
what does Disk Management say about it?

I am having a simular problem. I have 2 hard drives. A 15GB for my Windows,
and a 160 GB that has been partitioned into 5 smaller drives. Recently I
tried to open my F drive, and it told my that it was not reconized and it
prompted me to format it.
I have 21.7 GB free space out of 30 GB. I seen this post and did what you
said. It showed my 2 hard drives, but not the partitioned drives.

I have same problem. D drive is not seen at all anymore. Either disappeared
when SP2 installed or when I ran disk error check program. Device manager
shows no problem with disk drives which shows both drives.

Using system information program it does not show the D drive in the
storage/drives but shows two drives in the /IDE directory.

Recall having similar problem last year and though there was a program that
refreshed the drive lineup, but can not find it now. HELP

I also have the same problem, I did as you suggested and the only thing that
shows up is a healthy C drive. I was doing a virus clean up and had a D
drive the day before. After the virus clean up I did not have a D drive.
