lost logo names

out of no where, I browse my harddrive under c:\ and all
the thumbnails just show a picture of a folder without the
text of which folder it is. ANyone tell me how to fix
this, the only way I"ve tried it taking it off thumbnail
to something else, but I want to use thumbnails
