lost internet connection w/internet 6 security upgrade

Any hints on how to help correct a loss of com 3 port for
modem that occured when the ie 6 security pack download
crashed? Norton didn't help. No Go Back on this computer
which runs on Windows ME thanks!
 
I have IE 6.0 When I am using IE and right click with my
mouse the box includes a selection for >>>FREE PORN
GALLERIES<<<. I would like to get rid of this!!!!!!! I
think my teenage son was experiementing and went some
places he should not have gone and that is how it got
there in the first place. However, we would like it
off!!! I have cleared cookies, emptied the temp internet
files, but don't know what else I can do to prevent this.

Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated!
