Windows XP Lost Files Help

so typical college student wait till last min. to do work..i thought i was saving and i do have auto recovery but i cant find the final..i think when i went to save i clicked no..is there any any any way i could get this file back ill im finding is like the first two paragraphs...thanks!

I'm not sure if recuva will find it in this instance, unless you try to recover the MS Word .tmp files in the temp directory - they might have a more up to date version but I doubt it. :( Worth a shot though, as there is some more info on the storage location here:

Unless it's a huge document that takes days to compile, it might be easier to write again than it would be to recover it unfortunately.
