Lost file need help in locating file and reinstalling it

I ran Norton WinDocter and got the following error.
Missing File C:\Program Files\CommonFiles\Installshield\
Professional\RunTime\0701\Intel32\DotNetInstaller.exe
cannot acces a necessary file, mscoree.dll

Wante to find out I can fixed the problem. Where can I
find mscoree.dll on my disk and can I just reinstall the
file from the program disk ?

Why do you want to re-install spyware? Is witch doctor actually
recommending this?

Angie,

This dll is part of the Microsoft .NET framework. Go to Add/Remove programs
and remove the .NET framework there. When that is uninstalled, reinstall it
by going to Windows Update and
choosing it.

First.
Go and search for the file.
It should be in C:\<windows folder>\System32\.
If its there go and use a file called regsvr.exe (also in "C:\<windows
folder>\system32") with the commands /s mscoree.dll
