Lost email contacts after installing Outlook

My workstation automatically installed Outlook 2003 (sp3) when I installed
updates for Office 2003. Prior to that I was using Outlook Express. My
email contacts and mail folder contents are now gone. They didn't show up in
the newly installed Outlook and I can no longer locate Outlook Express on my
computer. Does anyone know how I can export my old contacts from OE into
Outlook 2003 even though the program has gone "missing"?

which os? is the link on the top of the start menu is for Outlook now? you
can chance that by right clicking on the start menu and choosing properties.
start menu, customize button. At the bottom of the dialog you can choose
your email client.

This will happen every time office updates as long as outlook is installed
so you should uninstall it you aren't going to use it.
