The message you received is fine.
I assume you used this command before and it was working.
Did you install any software to copy music to CD or maybe installed a DVD
burner with software for copying? This software may now want to make the
copy instead of leaving XP doing it.
Following your advice regarding burning software I found
that a "Windows Media Player Nero Burning Rom Plug In"
was the culprit have now resolved the problem thanks to
