Lost all default font selection in Datasheet setup

I've lost all the font selection under the Default Font
section in the Datasheet Option tab (Tools-Options-
Datasheet). As the result, all the datasheets show up as
garbage until I manually change the font type in each of
the datasheets. Can anyone help? I'm using Access XP.

Thanks in advance.

This can happen in Access 2002.
From memory, it was addressed in SP2.

Download the service pack from support.microsoft.com.

I already have applied SP2 as well as all available
patches but I'm still experiencing the problem.

Any other suggestion?

How many fonts do you have installed?

Can't remember exactly how I resolved this, but I think it was a matter of
too many fonts. I think it was this article that had the clues (though it's
actually a Word article):

If that's still no good, post back and I'll dig further.

As Allen notes, a common cause may be too many fonts loaded into your Fonts
folder. When you exceed
the "size" limitation for ACCES, the fonts disappear from the dropdown list.

Try deleting one font at a time and check the dropdown list. When you've
deleted the "magic" last one, the list will suddenly reappear!

See this article for more info.....
